SWANSEA, MA — A 67-year-old man died after the three-wheeled motorcycle he was driving collided with a dump truck on Route 6 at Milford Road in Swansea Friday morning, authorities said. The rider, Alan Scott of Somerset, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said the crash happened about 8:20 a.m. on Friday. Scott was driving a Can Am Spyder Roadster when it was involved in the collision with the dump truck.
