Police investigate a fatal motorcycle crash on a rural road in Oswego County

MEXICO, NY — State Police are investigating a fatal single-motorcycle crash that happened Saturday afternoon in the town of Mexico in Oswego County. The rider, 17-year-old Dalton J. Cummins of Mexico, was later pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital.

The crash was reported around 2:14 p.m. on State Route 3 at Munger Hill Road after the motorcycle went off the road, hit a tree and threw the operator from the vehicle.
