MONROE, NY — New York State Police have identified the two drivers involved in a fatal two-car crash on Lakes Road in the Town of Monroe. The collision happened Saturday evening and left one man dead at the scene and another in critical condition.
Troopers said the crash occurred at about 7:14 p.m. after a report of a two-vehicle collision. Investigators say one vehicle crossed the center line and struck the other head-on.

Authorities identified the Subaru driver as 43-year-old Daryl Baker of Monroe. Police said he was found inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was identified as 61-year-old Robert Molina, also of Monroe. He was removed from the vehicle and taken for emergency treatment.
