Mistakes happen, even in careful journalism. When they do at bronxville.news, we believe in fixing them transparently. Here is our approach to corrections.
Reporting a Mistake
We appreciate readers who help us stay accurate. To report a factual error, use our Contact page and provide:
- The title or link of the article
- The specific statement you believe is inaccurate
- The correct information, and a source if you have one
Being Open About Changes
We never silently remove content to cover up an error. When a correction changes the substance of an article, we say so openly, though minor typo fixes may be made without a formal note.
What We Do
We review every correction request promptly. If we confirm an error, we fix it as soon as possible. Significant corrections are noted on the article so readers can see what was changed and when.
Types of Changes
Not every change is the same, so we label them clearly:
- Correction — used when we publish something factually inaccurate
- Clarification — used when content is accurate but could be misunderstood
- Update — used when we add new information to a developing story
