The Bronxville High School Troops Club

Ava Singh, Staff Writer

The Bronxville High School Troops Club led by president Claire Rich was started fifteen-years ago by Ms. Clarke. The Troops Club includes students in life skill classes allowing them to contribute to the community service. The students send care packages to the — soldiers who are overseas. The packages consist of granola bars, shaving cream, gifts for family, socks, phone cards, amazon cards, and more!

Additionally, the 7th-grade advisory encourages the students in middle school to write heartfelt cards for the troops. Overtime, the Bronxville High School Troops club have received emails from the military expressing their gratitude and apprecitation for their consistent involvement and dedication. An officer, Matthew Griffin and Billy — who’s in the navy sent the Bronxville Troops Club emails expressing their thankfulness.

Billy grew up in Rockland County, New York.
