The Bronxville Girls’ Indoor Track and Field team has had fantastic performances all season. The girls were league champions and won the sectional championships for the 26th consecutive year; 18 girls earned awards from all-league to all-section. They won the Class C championships by over 100 points, taking home another victory! Bronxville’s 4×400 meter relay won the Millrose games, one of the most prestigious titles in track and field! The track team’s sprint-medley relay is currently fourth in the United States and their 4×400 meter relay is seventh! Five athletes have broken school records during the winter season in the 4×400 meter relay, pole vault, long jump, the 400 and the 600! 

The girls’ winter season, however, is far from over. The girl’s team is sending athletes to the State Championships at Ocean Breeze track on Long Island to compete in the 4×400 meter relay, pole vault and long jump! A week after States, they are sending 10 athletes on four relays to compete at the National Championships! We are hoping to see a strong and successful finish for our girls Indoor winter track team as they compete in the next few weeks!
